As some of you may know we have gone through a great deal of pain to borrow a Tablet Demo Unit to show our clients, one of our clients wanted to evaluate the Dell Tablet offering, they were “loaned” a tablet for 1 business day!!! How do they get to evaluate if it will fit their business needs in that time?? Silly isn’t it?? So they “had” to buy one to play with it.
We then took the option to our main vendors of choice (HP, Toshiba, Lenovo) and since the client will purchase 15 Tablets they are more than happy to give us a Demo unit, and not for a day or a week, but we have them for 4 weeks!!. Now that is a better evaluation, or should I say REAL evaluation.
To help ALL of our clients big and small, one Afternoon/Evening in January we will be inviting our clients to come and feel/play with Tablet technology, instead of them having to buy one to see if it will fit how they work, they can now come and play with one for a few hours to see if it might fit, if it does then we will fight to see if we can get the Demo extended.
For the record, so far we have at the demo
- Toshiba
- Lenovo
- Dell (Clients machine)
And I hope HP will come to the party, as this will give our clients a good showcase.
As we also have IT companies as clients and partners/friends out there too.. If you are an IT company and would like to show your clients, you are more than welcome to come in and use our boardroom to show off the options your clients have.. (you know the partnership agreement we have will mean your clients wont be serviced by us unless you approve).
